Visiting this website
This website sets no cookies.
We run no analytics and include no third-party trackers, fonts or scripts.
We don't fingerprint devices or build profiles of visitors.
Our server sees your IP address with every request. We use it to deliver the page, to
limit how often the beta form can be sent, and to block abusive traffic.
Applying for the beta
When you send the beta application form, we receive:
your first and last name;
your work email address;
your phone number, if you give it;
your company name and country;
your role and typical project size.
To keep bots out:
Your browser solves a small computation before the form is sent. This happens on your
device and involves no cookies and no third-party CAPTCHA.
We check that the domain of your email address can receive mail.
After you apply, your browser keeps your first name in session storage so the thank-you
page can greet you. It is deleted when you close the tab.
Where your application goes
We store your application in our customer relationship management system (Odoo), which we
host on our own servers.
We create an inactive invitation for your email address and company name in the Kuuno app.
It only becomes usable after a person on our team approves your application.
We email you to confirm we received your application, and again with your invitation link
once you are approved.
When you register, your account details are stored in the Kuuno app, and we link your
company in Odoo to your Kuuno organisation so we can support and bill it later.
Why we use it
We use your application to decide on your beta access and to contact you about it.
We process it because you asked to join the beta: these are steps taken at your request
before an agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
We process IP addresses and the bot checks to protect our services from spam and abuse,
which is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.
Who else processes it
Our website, Odoo and the Kuuno app run on servers we operate ourselves.
Google Workspace delivers our email. Google processes your email address and the messages
we send you on our behalf, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where data leaves the
EU.
We share your data with no one else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep the IP addresses used for rate limiting in memory for 10 minutes.
We keep declined or withdrawn applications for at most 12 months, then delete them.
We keep data of beta participants for as long as you take part, and delete it when you
leave, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, invoices).
We delete your data earlier whenever you ask, within the limits of the law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you.
You can object to or restrict how we process it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere.
You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority
(gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) or the authority in your own country.
